The Bullitt is Back: the McQueen of Cool

Delicious Junction is delighted by the warm reception to our new Chukka boot, the "Bullitt"

The iconic late 50's/early 60's inspired footwear is already putting its stamp on 2014;
Proving a real hit with our customers and long time friend of Delicious Junction & top gent Mr. Paolo Hewitt...

Back in the day, the Bullitt chukka boot was the ultimate symbol of style.  Steve McQueen was rarely seen without his brown suedes and they quickly became associated with the ultra cool Hollywood elite.

We've recreated McQueen's iconic pose using our modernised, 50's-inspired clothes, a DJ despatch bag and below we find Darron J Connett pulling off the look in fine style:

Available in 4 delicious suede colours; Tan as seen above, Chocolate brown, Stone or Black suede. For more information visit www.deliciousjunction.co.uk

All In Good Time: Issue 3

The third issue of “All in Good Time” magazine is out now and it's jam packed full with stuff to inspire you for the year ahead...

Steve Cradock, mod, genius guitarist from Ocean Colour Scene and Paul Weller's band talks childhood inspirations, his new solo album Travel Wild – Travel Free, and of course, footwear!

Jonny Owen, all round top gent and director of Svengali. The film which features all sorts of stars from Boy George to ex-Oasis manager Alan McGee and Tim from The Office (aka genius Martin Freeman, The Hobbit, Sherlock) will be in cinemas and available for download from March 21st 2014.

We catch up with George Dyer, the bespoke tailor who lists Paul Weller, David Haye, and Martin Freeman amongst his clients. He tells us about his fashion inspiration, his design heroes and of course, his taste in footwear.

This issue we turn the spotlight on Birmingham and chat to 2 hardened retail warriors, Frankie Johns & Paul Lam. They tell their stories of how they got into retail and what independent retail is all about today.

Terry Rawlings - our guest writer for this issue - takes an amusing look at some cool faces of the 1960's and contrasts their slightly uncool sides. For example Davy Jones was Manchester’s first major star and he exploited his success by...appearing in Coronation Street.

Cover stars Last Of The Troubadours give us an insight into their world and showcase our unique design collaboration...

You can find all of this in issue 3 Spring/Summer 2014 and much more.
